What is Social Running?

Social Running is a running community in Brussels that comes together to run, meet new people and have a good time.

The idea is simple: run together, connect naturally.

Our runs are open to everyone, whether you’re an experienced runner, getting back into running, or simply looking for a new way to meet people in Brussels.

When and where do you meet?

Our main run, SYNC, takes place every week in Brussels.

How many kilometres do you run?

SYNC runs are generally 8 km.

The goal isn’t to break a record: we run at a pace that allows everyone to stay together and have a conversation.

The distance may vary slightly depending on the route or if it’s a special event.

P
O
What is the pace like?

Conversational pace (around 6:00-6:30/Km).

That means you should be able to run while having a conversation with the people around you.

We’re not a traditional running club with different pace groups and timed training sessions. The main goal of SYNC is simply to run together.

I’m a beginner. Can I join?

Absolutely.

You don’t need to be an experienced runner to join Social Running.

If you can run a few kilometres at a comfortable pace, you’re welcome to join us. And most importantly, you don’t need to know anyone to come along.

Do I need to register before coming?

We recommend registering for the event so we know who’s joining and can share any important information with you.

But if you decide to join us at the last minute, you’re still very welcome.

Is it free?
